Description of Rear view Camera:

This design of reversing camera has been around for many years. They are the most popular design for larger vehicles such as lorries and farm vehicles. Our supplier for these cameras use top quality moulds that use rubber seals rather than sealant you find in cheaper cameras. They are tested to IP69 and in our experience very rarely have issues with water getting in. They use a 1/3" Sony 700 TVL CCD or upgraded to AHD 1080P/720P sensor which gives an excellent picture day and night. They use our 4 pin connector that locks and is waterproof.

The one photograph shows the field of view obtained by this camera. At a typical mounting height it will cover the full width and more of the vehicle. Other manufacturers often give inaccurate specifications for camera angle which is why we show images in real life situations.

We occassionally have clearance versions at a discount. THEY MAY BE OF A DIFFERENT SPECIFICATION. They will be on clearance usually for paint marks, new customer returns (change of mind) or old stock. Also they may be of a lower specification like a mild steel bracket or Sharp 1/3" CCD sensor at 420 or 480 TVL. You will find these in our clearance section if any are available.
