About this Radar BSD System

This product can give early warning to dangerous targets in the left and right rear of motorcycle.

How Does Kysail Car BSD Radar System Work?

This system kit include 1 x 77Ghz millimeter wave radar, 2 x indicator LEDs (built-in Buzzer), or a single buzzer, and connecting harness.

All these components work collectively for the proper functioning of the system.

Operation Principle:

The system performs two main functions. One is detecting the target object, the other is warning driver. The millimeter wave radar accurately detects the objects, then warning lights and buzzer collectively warn the driver about the risk at the same time.

 

77Ghz Radar Continuously send & receive the wave signals, it is up to the car BSD system to judge whether the object is a threat to the car or not.

 

For practical judgment, it accurately measures the target car’s speed, angle, and relative displacement. Once the system marks the target as a potential risk, it will issue the first or second-level alarm to warn the driver.

 

1st level alarm: The warning light will stay on without buzzer involvement;

2nd level alarm: The warning light flashes, and the buzzer sounds.

 

77GHz Radar can detect 64 objects simultaneously within a 50-meter range. It is the most efficient and accurate car blind spot detection system.

Blind Spot Detection (BSD):

  • Warning strategy: Moving target in alarm area

1st level alarm: The corresponding indicating light will stay ON to warn the driver (without buzzer involvement); Once the object car leaves detecting area, the system will cancel the alarm.

 2nd level alarm: If the driver switches on the turn signal lamp while a car is in the detection area, the system issues 2nd Level alarm: The warning light flashes, and the buzzer sounds.

 

Lane Change Assist – (LCA)

  • Widthwise Detecting area:1.5m≤X≤4.4m-4.4m≤X≤-1.5m
  • longitudinal Detecting area0 m~50M (164Ft)
  • Warning strategy: Time To Collision (TTC) ≤ 3s.

 

This system helps the driver in active lane changing.

It warns the driver early about the object in the adjacent lane. In LCA parallel auxiliary feature, the system adopts an early warning strategy. So, it alerts the driver when the approach time of the vehicle is ≤ 3.0 seconds.

 

1st level alarm: The corresponding indicating light will stay ON to warn the driver (without buzzer involvement); Once the object car leaves detecting area, the system will cancel the alarm.

2nd level alarm: If the driver switches on the turn signal lamp while a car is in the detection area, the corresponding warning light flashes, and the buzzer sounds.

Much easier than old 24Ghz dual radar version!
